It started with promiscuity. King Solomon was obsessed with sex: ‘He had seven hundred royal wives and three hundred concubines – a thousand women in all!’ (v.3, MSG). It ended with the following of detestable gods: ‘As Solomon grew older, his wives beguiled him with their alien gods’ (4a, MSG). He acted contrary to the Lord’s explicit command that the king ‘must not take many wives, or his heart will be led astray. He must not accumulate large amounts of silver and gold.’ (Deuteronomy 17:17). All these led Solomon astray.
Those who fake greatness never attain it. Simon of Samaria was one example. He claimed to be great when he was not one. He ended in ignominy. “But there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practised sorcery in the city and astonished the people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great, to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is the great power of God.” (Acts

God is “a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:29). He appeared to Moses in the burning bush (Exodus 3:2), He appeared as the Shekinah glory (Exodus 14:19; Numbers 9:15-16), and in Ezekiel’s vision (Ezekiel 1:4). Fire has many times been an instrument of God’s judgment (Numbers 11:1, 3; 2 Kings 1:10, 12; Lev.10: 1-3). -Austen Ukachi

John Owen, in his detailed study of indwelling sin, describes the flesh as an “inbred law [that] must needs be effectual... such is the law of sin. It is an indwelling law: ‘It is sin that dwells in me’ (Rom. 7:17, 20); ‘It is present with me’ (Rom. 7:21); ‘It is in my members’ (Rom. 7:23) – yea, it is so far in man, as in some sense it is said to be man himself; ‘I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwells no good thing’ (Rom. 7:18). The flesh, which is the seat and throne of this law, yea, which indeed is this law, is in some sense the man himself... an indwelling law inclining and moving to sin as an inward habit or principle.” The flesh then is Paul’s word to describe the state of every fallen human being as sinfully self-centered and dominated by rebellion. “The works of the flesh are evident,” says the Apostle Paul. They are “sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God” (Galatians 5:19-21). --Stephen Unthank; Greenbelt Baptist Church

Faith is the confident belief in something that is not yet seen or fully understood. It is the foundation upon which our relationship with God is built. For Christians, faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). It is trusting in God's goodness and believing that He will keep His promises.
It is by faith that you receive the things you desire from God; be it healing, answered prayers, deliverance, and change. In several instances in the Bible, Jesus said "be it unto you according to your faith". Here are some of the instances:
The scripture in Mark 11:23 - 24 should be front and centre in your prayer life and walk with God.
Mark 11:23-24 (New King James Version) 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. -Edikan Uko; Love Faith & Miracles: Harnessing The Power of Faith To Transform Your Life 3.14.23

- Matthew 9:29 - "Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you."
- Matthew 15:28 - "Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour."
- Matthew 21:22 - "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."
- Mark 9:23 - "Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth."
- Mark 11:24 - "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."
- Luke 17:6 - "And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you."

Billy Graham's granddaughter joins 'Evangelicals for Harris,' quotes Isaiah to blast Trump supporters
The granddaughter of the late Rev. Billy Graham endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris during an "Evangelicals for Harris" Zoom call Wednesday and suggested that Christians who support former President Donald Trump are causing people to turn away from Christianity. Jerushah Duford, whose mother Virginia "Gigi" Graham Tchividjian is Graham's oldest daughter, spoke in a recorded video because she was unable to attend the virtual event, which also included speakers such as former Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., and "public theologian" Ekemini Uwan, who has claimed "whiteness is wicked" and that churches should pay global reparations to "people of African descent."
