Paula White was born Paula Michelle Furr, April 20, 1966, in Tupelo, Mississippi, to Myra Joanelle and Donald Paul Furr III. Her parents owned a thriving toy and craft store, and Paula and her brother Mark had a privileged life. However, Donald and Myra Furr's marriage began to fail when Paula was five years old. Paula's mother left Tupelo and took her to Memphis. Paula's father followed with an ultimatum for Myra to give Paula to him or he would commit suicide, and Myra refused. Later that night Donald Furr killed himself by running his car into a tree. Paula's mother experienced a drastic change in socioeconomic status because of her husband's death, throwing Paula, her brother and mother into poverty. Paula's mother became an alcoholic. While her mother worked, White was looked after by caregivers. White has said that she was sexually and physically abused between the ages of six and thirteen, by different people on different occasions Paula Michelle White is an international Christian evangelist and teacher, TV personality, author and philanthropist. She is the Senior Pastor of New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka, Florida (Orlando metropolitan area), which is a non-denominational, multi-cultural church whose membership ranges in the thousands. She hosts a television show, Paula White Today, produced by Paula White Ministries, that is seen on multiple networks, at one point including Black Entertainment Television (BET) and Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). Formerly she was the co-pastor of Without Walls International Church in Tampa, a church she co-founded with pastor Randy White.
She has received many awards for her work, including the Rosa Parks Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013, Impact Leadership Award in 2011; the Humanitarian Award by the Trumpet Award Foundation in 2009; the Behind the Bench "Mind, Body, Spirit Award" from the NBA Wives Organization in 2007, and the "Trailblazer Award" by Jesse Jackson and Rainbow Coalition in 2006. In many of her sermons, empowerment seminars, and books Paula White discusses her childhood traumas to teach about God's transforming power. Her style has been described as humorous and candid.

Trump attacks undocumented immigrants and other familiar targets at Georgia Tech rally Former president Donald Trump was back in Georgia Monday for a faith summit and rally just over a week ahead of the Nov. 5 presidential election where he faces Vice President Kamala Harris. Georgia’s 16 electoral votes could be crucial to victory, and both candidates and their surrogates have been barnstorming the state in the final days, with major appearances by candidates last week and by surrogates over the weekend. Trump started off his latest visit with a stop at a Powder Springs church for a faith summit featuring evangelical leaders including Paula White, Jentezen Franklin, Jack Graham and Kenneth Copeland. The former president concluded his Monday visit with a rally at Georgia Tech’s McCamish Pavilion, near where he debated President Joe Biden in late June before Biden dropped out of the race. 10 Evangelical reactions to Trump's guilty verdict: 'A very sad day'
Paula White, who served as a spiritual advisor to Trump during his tenure in the White House, described Thursday as “a sad day for all Americans as we watched firsthand the judicial system weaponized to go after President Trump for political gain.” Like Franklin, White shared pictures of spiritual leaders praying over Trump in a post published on the social media platform X on Thursday. “We the people will stand up against this in November!” she vowed. “May God bless you, my long time friend, President Trump, and may God bless all of us who stand for righteousness!” (Christian Post 6/22/23) READ MORE>>>>>

There's Something About Paula White
Paula White-Cain was very close to Trump during his presidency; There was not a rally where Paula White-Cain wasn’t present, and often opening rallies with prayer. Most of the time she engaged in what we call spiritual warfare prayer—prayers that are directed against President Trump’s enemies, against the enemies of Christians. Implying that these demonic forces have a hold on Trump’s political adversaries.
During Trump’s reelection campaign, there were 20,000 people at the Amway Center [at an Orlando rally in June 2019]. And the first person to show up on the podium is Paula White-Cain. And she’s praying against principalities and powers. To all these 20,000 people, she’s labeling Trump’s adversaries as being influenced by evil supernatural forces. So it’s a way to disqualify Trump’s political adversaries.

The roots of Trump’s religion
It is feasible Trump will be back in the Oval Office in less than year. Yet when I mention to colleagues that I have been researching Trump’s religious faith, reactions vary from mild scoffing (“I thought he was his own religion?”) to bafflement and surprise. But Trump has a faith. Let us start with Trump’s inauguration. Not many people will have heard of Pastor Paula White, but she was one of the clergy nominated to pray for Trump at his inauguration in 2017. Pastor White is a leading exponent of the (so-called) “health, wealth and prosperity” movement. She preaches the “prosperity gospel” which teaches that God wants people to be rich, and that he makes them wealthy as a blessing. Conspicuous wealth is evidence of God’s personal reward for those with faith.

Meet the New Apostolic Reformation, cutting edge of the Christian rightChristian nationalism has new momentum — and a new movement that openly longs for "dominion" over secular America. Lance Wallnau’s book, “God’s Chaos Candidate” played a significant role in solidifying evangelical support for Donald Trump in 2016, brushing aside concerns about his obvious lack of morality.
Paula White-Cain gave the invocation at Trump’s inauguration in 2017, at his re-election campaign kick-off in 2019 and his Jan. 6, 2021, pre-insurrection rally. On the second occasion, she gave what experts describe as a ‘spiritual warfare’ prayer: “Let every demonic network that is aligned itself against the purpose, against the calling of President Trump, let it be broken, let it be torn down in the name of Jesus.”

‘Who’s Allowing the Grifting?’: Donald Trump’s Former Spiritual Adviser Paula White, Who Once Prayed for Televangelist and former Donald Trump spiritual adviser Paula White claimed that she helped Nelson Mandela end apartheid in South Africa.
White made the outrageous claim during the Universal Peace Federation 2023 Peace Summit in Seoul, South Korea, on May 4. White — who claims to speak in tongues and once prayed for the angels of “Africa and South America” to reverse the 2020 election — claims in a resurfaced clip that she worked with Nelson Mandela to end apartheid in Pretoria, South Africa, while doing advocacy work, according to The Christian Post. “I began to feed homeless people, and I just asked God, ‘Could I spend the rest of my life doing this?’ My life was radically changed since I prayed a little prayer,” claimed the televangelist. “That advocacy started, and I would go to South Africa soon after that and build the first AIDS home in Pretoria, South Africa, and begin to work with Nelson Mandela to abolish apartheid.” The Nelson Mandela Foundation’s Razia Saleh told the Post the foundation had no record of White ever working with Mandela. |
April 6, 2023:
Tim Dickinson writing for Rolling Stone noted that Trump has painted his legal woes in a frame of religious persecution. After his 34 count indictment Trump’s longtime religious adviser Paula White Cain, working with an evangelical group called Intercessors for America, organized an “Emergency Prayer Call” for Trump. He argued that believers in “our beautiful Christianity” have been targeted: “We’re being discriminated against as a religion. We’re being discriminated against as a faith,” he insisted. “And we can’t let that continue.” Laying it on even thicker, Trump declared: “The main thing that our country needs, again, is religion.” He insisted: “I’m fighting, very hard for people of religion, people that believe in God.” Finally, Trump implored his listeners: “I want you to pray really hard, because we have to have a victory in 2024.”
Paula White Cain then moved the call along, asking other prominent guests to make public prayers for the ex-president, who remained on the line. The speakers included Focus on the Family founder James Dobson, Christian Nationalist worship leader Sean Feucht, former acting attorney general Matt Whitaker, and former congress member Michele Bachmann. Feucht used his time to summon “prayer warriors” to “rise up” on Trump’s behalf. He then prayed directly to heaven: “We know that you got a plan God… You can take what the enemy meant for evil in this horrible, corrupt, disgusting, demonic situation with this case in New York [and] you can shift it — and turn it around for our good.” there are some name and groups in there that I once considered honorable. Trump, however, permanently taints anything everyone he touches. He is spiritually and politically toxic.

The last few seconds of the Mar-a-Lago video are dominated by a beaming Jonathan Cain. In 2014, the Journey keyboardist met Christian television star Paula White on a Southwest Airlines flight. A year later, Paula and Jon divorced their partners, joined hands and jumped on a midnight train going anywhere.
Jonathan Cain has become a regular feature at Paula White-Cain’s megachurch. Three years later, Neal Schon was horrified to see publicity shots of Cain and two of his Journey bandmates being feted at the White House. Cain’s photogenic wife had delivered the invocation at Trump’s inauguration and, by the time of her husband’s White House visit, she was effectively running Trump’s Evangelical Advisory Council.
White’s ascendency was no accident. In 2002, Trump had invited White to visit him at Trump Tower after seeing her perform on television. She had the “it factor,” he said. She knew how to work a crowd.
Most of the high-profile preachers on Trump’s advisory council viewed women preachers with suspicion. But if they wanted access to the White House, these men had no choice but to work with Paula White. Like Journey in 1980, she was making a strategic move from a niche market to the MAGA big time.
In 2019, confident that Trump would be re-elected the following year, White announced that Brad Knight, her son, and his wife, Sarah, would be taking over as pastor of her Florida church. Recovering from the shock that her conduit to the White House had evaporated, White quickly switched course. Check out the congregation’s website these days and it’s all Paula White-Cain and her rock star husband.
Although he still identifies as Journey’s keyboardist, Jonathan Cain has emerged as an artist in the contemporary Christian music field. At every opportunity, he lets it be known that all the big hits he co-wrote with Journey were dictated, word-for-word, by the Holy Spirit. Which is why Neal Schon was so disturbed to see “Don’t Stop Believin’”associated with a form of political religion which, although wildly popular with the MAGA faithful, is anathema to most Journey fans.
In late December 2022, Schon fired off a cease-and-desist order demanding Cain stop using the band’s iconic song in political and religious settings.
With Journey’s 50th Anniversary Tour scheduled to begin in late January, fans are wondering how, with the rancor between them at fever pitch, Schon and Cain could possibly stand to share a stage. But the two men have been feuding over much the same issue ever since Cain and White blended their personas in 2015.
On New Year’s Eve, the two men were at Times Square performing “Don’t Stop Believin’” at “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest.” Having hopped on the same midnight train 43 years earlier, they have little choice but to keep riding. Like the song says, “it goes on, and on, and on, and on.”
The unsavory fact is that all the folks featured on the Mar-a-Lago video (together with white American evangelicalism, and the Republican Party) have clambered aboard Donald Trump’s midnight train and are destined to ride that train until, in the fulness of time, it hurtles off the rails. --Alan Bean; Friends of Justice; Don’t Stop Deceivin’: A Mar-a-Lago video unveils an American Apocalypse

The first church I went to eventually dived into prosperity teaching nonsense. The experience has left me somewhat discerning and I avoid those type of churches....like Joel Osteen, Paula White, Ken Copeland and a host of others. My late mother use to listen to Osteen because she said he made her "feel good." Eating cheesecake makes me feel good...I would hope to get something more out of church then the feeling that I just ate some cheesecake.

Paula White prayer in DC on Jan 6, 2021:
… God, you said you honor your word and your name above all things. So as we hold you, in covenant with you, today, let justice be done. Let justice be done. Let justice be done. Let we the people have the assurance of a fair and a just election. Hear our cry and turn our hearts to you. God, I pray that you would turn the hearts of those who are in power and position to make decisions, to walk in your wisdom, and to do justly today — for the integrity of democracy. For our nation.
God, we ask right now, in conclusion, for your provision. For your protection. For your power. For an outpouring of your spirit like never before. I secure POTUS — I thank you for President Trump. I thank you that he has stood with Israel. He has stood with life. He has stood for righteousness. He has stood for the most vulnerable. He has stood to alleviate poverty. He has stood for religious freedom. He has stood for safety and protection. He has stood in a place, God, that few men could stand. He has walked in your ways. And as you have allowed me to have a relationship with him and his family for 20 years, right now, as his pastor I put a hedge of protection around him. I secure his purpose. I secure his destiny. I secure his life, God, and I thank you that he will walk in a holy boldness and a wisdom, God, and that you will go before him. You will be his rear guard, and you will go in front of him this day and every day, God. …

Paula White Cain is reportedly joining White House staff, according to The New York Times.Cain has served as President Donald Trump's spiritual adviser, and their relationship reaches back years before he ran for president. Cain will now officially work as adviser to the Trump administration's Faith and Opportunity Initiative, which works to give a voice to faith communities in government programs, reports say. Trump established the initiative last year by executive order with the goal of furthering causes important to religious communities, such as religious freedom and helping the poor. 10.31.18 - Charisma News: Paula White Cain Joins White House Staff
Not all Christians, including evangelicals, are fans of the wealthy, thrice-married White, who has long been associated with the prosperity gospel, a set of beliefs that says God will reward faith, and very generous giving, with financial blessings. Detractors point to a congressional investigation of her former church’s finances and accusations that she has taken advantage of her mostly African American parishioners through her fundraising. Southern Baptist leader Russell Moore has called her a “charlatan,” conservative Christian writer Erick Erickson has said she’s a “Trinity-denying heretic,” and Christian rapper Shai Linne named her a “false teacher” in one of his songs.
But since the election, White’s star has soared. She offered a prayer at Trump’s inauguration (becoming the first clergywoman in history in such a role). She sat by the president at a private dinner for evangelical leaders on the eve of the National Day of Prayer. She has hovered close by during prayer sessions in the Oval Office. She was present when Trump met with advisers to discuss the nomination of Neil M. Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, she told me, she has turned many of her duties as a pastor of a large church in Apopka, Fla., over to associates as she jets to the White House an average of once a week. (The Trump White House does not release visitor logs, so it’s difficult to confirm how often White is there.)

Apopka preacher Paula White and presidential nominee Donald Trump are a match made in alt-right heaven
The Pentecostal preacher is on fire: A diminutive blonde in thigh-high boots with 4-inch stiletto heels, she transfixes her suburban Apopka congregation. Stalking the stage, she conveys mastery and authority one moment, vulnerability the next. She galvanizes the predominantly African-American worshipers at her megachurch, New Destiny Christian Center. And she isn't shy about breaking down her version of the here-and-now Prosperity Gospel."I don't want pie in the sky by and by," she says. "I want some ham where I am."
On a typical Sunday morning service at New Destiny – the first of two – worship has begun as it always does, with colored lights flashing against the walls and the cavernous ceiling, to the pounding beat of Christian rock. Worshippers are soon on their feet, arms in the air. A boom-mounted TV camera swoops down across the pews, as Paula White keeps time to the music, clapping with the heels of her hands
