Christian nationalist host prays God will “motivate the American people to get out and vote” after Trump tells him “God saved me” because “he wants me to save this country” During a FlashPoint interview that aired September 10, former President Donald Trump suggested to program host Gene Bailey that “God saved me” from an assassination attempt during a presidential campaign rally “because he wants me to save this country for you and for people that think like we do.” Bailey responded later by praying that God would “motivate the American people to get out and vote.” This was at least Trump’s seventh interview on FlashPoint or during the show's affiliated live events between September 2021 and September 2024. Bailey is a right-wing pastor at Trump ally Kenneth Copeland’s Eagle Mountain Church and is the host of Victory Channel’s FlashPoint, a right-wing program that pledges to provide “commentary on current issues from a conservative and prophetic viewpoint.” Bailey, who has called the separation of church and state “a lie,” described his political agenda for the program at a FlashPoint Live event last year, declaring: “We do have an agenda, and that is I am a Christo-fascist, Christian nationalist.” Other right-wing “prophets” and personalities on the show have pushed extreme rhetoric, including prophesying natural disasters in response to Trump’s criminal indictments, suggesting that Trump is anointed and that God will kill his opponents, and framing political developments in the context of a “demonic spin cycle.” (Media Matters 9/13/24) READ MORE>>>>> GOD’S ARMY GATHERS IN FORT WORTH Christian nationalist prophets, an election conspiracist, and the wealthiest pastor in America collide for a week of right-wing politics. Organizers kicked off the event with a live taping of Flashpoint Live, a news and opinion show hosted by Gene Bailey, the executive pastor of a church founded by Kenneth Copeland, who refers to his viewers as the “Flashpoint Army.” “Any Flashpoint Army people here tonight?” Bailey asked the crowd. The crowd erupted in applause. Bailey introduced Flashpoint’s headliner, Mike Lindell—the election conspiracy theorist and pillow salesman who is in regular contact with former President Donald Trump. In a one-on-one interview with Bailey, Lindell complained that his phone was seized by the FBI for its investigation into the president, called the indicted former president the “real president,” and compared the government response to January 6 to Nazi Germany. Pirro, who currently co-hosts Fox’s top-rated program The Five, appeared on the May 30 edition of FlashPoint, where the host, megapastor Gene Bailey, noted that his audience is “mainly conservative Christians” and that the show is not “fair and balanced,” adding, “We're the — way to the right of center. We’re unabashedly bold about who we are.” (Unlike Fox’s former motto “fair and balanced.”) The host asked Pirro: “When you see the left and what they’re doing, what is it you think … our audience needs to know that you feel like most of America doesn't understand about this current situation?” Feb 2, 2023: Current: The MAGA evangelical revivalists are no longer silent about the Asbury Revival
The New Apostolic Reformation (or Independent Network Charismatics) is one such movement trying to reclaim America for Christ. They are connected to Seven Mountain Dominionism, the belief that Christians will usher in the return of Jesus Christ when they gain power over seven spheres of cultural influence: education, family, religion, media, entertainment, business, and government. Last summer some of these “prophets”–Gene Bailey, Mario Murillo, Hank Kunneman, Lance Wallnau, and Dutch Sheets–went on tour. We covered it here. Here is a video of these guys reciting a Christian nationalist confession of faith: |

Also, Miller joined Victory Channel’s Flashpoint hosted by Gene Bailey. Miller expressed concern about the predatory lawsuits against faith-based ministries and organizations that may spring from the bill’s overly broad “private right of action” clause. ".......look, this country was found on the Judeo-Christian ethics. We, you know, when I was the judge in my courtroom above my bench, it said “In God we trust.” I think that America is moving so far from that foundation that we are in a dangerous point that every person who is a person of religion or a person of God understands the inherent dangers of what is happening in America today.
We are flirting with the kind of destiny that only destroyed nations and fallen empires find themselves in. And so that's why I wrote the book Crimes Against America. What the left is doing to our children in schools and to Americans across the board, and especially to those believers, people who believed in God and are faith-driven, is it is destroying them. And, you know, we saw it with the Dobbs decision. When our own Department of Justice would not follow its own rules of making an arrest of anyone who is parading or protesting in front of a Supreme Court justice’s home in the hope of getting them to change their opinion. Not one of those people was arrested, but you could rest assured that everyone, everyone who was involved in any way — and some of them who were clearly innocent and found to be not guilty by juries later — who got involved in any kind of pro-choice objection ended up being arrested and ended up being prosecuted. But any of the pro-life centers or the pregnancy centers, any of the attacks on them were not even — they were not even investigated. And so, when you look at what is happening, the takedown of religion in America, it forebodes a very difficult future. And I think that people of faith need to worry about not just what's being taught in schools in terms of transgender nonsense, but what is happening in our society today against religion." --Jeanine Pirro; Flashpoint w/Pastor Gene Bailey May 30, 2023 |
