Creflo Augustus Dollar, Jr., (born January 28, 1962) is an American pastor, televangelist, and the founder of the non-denominational Christian World Changers Church International based in College Park, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. Dollar also heads the Creflo Dollar Ministerial Association (formerly called International Covenant Ministries), Creflo Dollar Ministries, and Arrow Records. Dollar began developing World Changers Ministries Christian Center in 1986. He held the church's first worship service in the cafeteria of Kathleen Mitchell Elementary School in College Park, with eight people in attendance. He later renamed the ministry World Changers Church International (WCCI), and the congregation moved from the cafeteria to a dedicated chapel. Four services were held each Sunday, and Creflo added a weekly radio broadcast and the television show Changing Your World. On December 24, 1995, WCCI moved into its present location, the 8,500-seat facility known as the World Dome.
Televangelists Keith Moore And Creflo Dollar Acquire Multi-Million-Dollar Jets
The ministries for televangelists Keith Moore and Creflo Dollar recently purchased new jets, totaling tens of millions of dollars. After a fundraising campaign with a goal of $10 million, Moore's Faith Life International purchased a used Dassault Falcon 7X jet, which was listed for sale at $17.5 million on the AircraftVx
website . A new model would have cost $60 million. The Federal Aviation Administration disclosed the purchase when it certified the jet in May. The jet's original tail number was N1902C , but has been changed to N37KM . Tail numbers are the aircraft equivalent of license plates for cars. When ministries purchase a jet, the ministry founder's initials are frequently used in the tail number.

May 3, 2023: Roys Report: Study Reveals Which Denominations Hold Strongest Beliefs on Tithing
The study released last week by Lifeway Research, a firm affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, found that 77% of Protestant churchgoers in the U.S. affirm that “tithing is a biblical command that still applies today.” Only 10% rejected this belief and another 13% were unsure. Last year, televangelist and Georgia megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar renounced his past decades-long teachings on tithing. In a sermon, Dollar urged congregants to “throw away every book, every tape, and every video I ever did on the subject of tithing.”

"I want to start off by saying that I'm still growing, and the teachings that I've shared in times past on the subject of tithing were not correct.....And today, I stand in humility to correct some things that I've taught for years and believed for years but could never understand it clearly because I had not yet been confronted with the Gospel of grace, which has made the difference. Religion is sustained by two factors, fear and guilt. And if it's one subject that the church has used for a long time to keep people in fear and guilt, it is that subject of tithing. And it has to be corrected and it's got to be corrected now."

The richest of them is Kenneth Copeland. Living in a $20 million mansion, and owning a $36 million jet, Copeland is the poster boy for superrich preachers. In fact, with an estimated net worth of at least $300 million, no one else comes close. While names such as Creflo Dollar, TD Jakes, TB Joshua, Joel Osteen, and Benny Hinn are more recognisable, those in the know understand who the true prosperity gospel patriarchs are, and Copeland ranks very highly.

Apr 24, 2015: Christian Examiner: Creflo Dollar calls private jet a matter of faith, avoids stewardship issue
Georgia televangelist Creflo Dollar, who caught flak after launching a $65 million campaign in March for the purchase of a G650 Gulfstream aircraft, blasted critics this week in defending his "need" for a multi-million dollar private jet. Mar 27, 2015: Christian Post: John Perkins Slams Creflo Dollar's Evil, Heretical Exploitation of Black Communities for $65 Million Private Jet Campaign
John M. Perkins, a civil rights leader and father of the racial reconciliation movement, criticized pastor Creflo Dollar's former fundraising campaign for a new $65 million private jet as "evil," "heresy," and "exploitation," as he explained the damage prosperity preachers have done to black communities. |
--Preachers of the prosperity ministry like Creflo Dollar in many ways parallel high priests of hip-hop like Sean “Jay-Z” Carter and Kanye West. Both prey on their followers to elevate their own lifestyles and fortify their personal kingdoms. For hip-hop, Grandmaster Flash prophesied this over 30 years ago in the early days of the art form. In his song The Message, he proclaims “…it’s all about money, ain’t a damn thing funny, you got to have a con in this land of milk and honey.” Because the music industry is a business, these words of truth are not shocking, but what about the church? How did the church, particularly parts of the black church, get here?
The black church played an instrumental role in the landmark legislative victories of the Civil Rights Movement in the 60’s. However, there were unintended consequences that came along with those victories. From the shadow of emancipation until the dawn of desegregation, black communities contained the full depth and breadth of black existence — doctors, lawyers, teachers, musicians, artists, day laborers, share croppers, winos and petty thieves — the whole gamut of black life. When blacks were allowed through legislative victories to move out of predominately black communities into “better” white communities, the members of the community who were best equipped to take advantage of this “opportunity” were the most educated and affluent. Over time, black communities were depleted of precious resources, leaving the makeup of the communities more homogeneously poor and under-educated. --Mar 20, 2015: The Grio: Creflo Dollar, Jay-Z, and Kanye: The high priests of the prosperity gospel

“Plain and simple: Pastor Creflo Dollar is a disgrace,” wrote Steve Siebold of the Huffington Post in his recent article Creflo Dollar wants your Dollars. His article betrays a deep misunderstanding of the biblical text; however, even a lost person like Siebold can trace the evidence where it leads with regards to Dollar’s character. Dollar is simply a disgrace. Social media has been abuzz for the last few days with deservedly harsh criticisms of Dollar after he sought donations on his website to purchase a $65,000,000 jet for his “ministry.” Dollar, a prosperity gospel televangelist, is an easy target for disgusted secularists and incensed evangelical Christians alike. He has amassed great wealth while preaching a false gospel at a Baptist church called “World Changers Church International.” --Pulpit & Pen -3.19.15
Maybe we’re being harsh, but asking your followers to donate $65 million for a private jet is a little ridiculous. But that’s exactly what the minister of World Changers Church International in Atlanta asked supporters of his word to do.
